I am so excited for my 7th year teaching here at Freedom! I look forward to getting to know my students and helping to inspire a love of language learning as well as helping students to develop a curiosity and understanding about Spanish-speaking cultures and their ways of life. In class, students will be exposed to as much Spanish input as possible, through listening and reading activities. This input is vital if our ultimate goal is production of the language for the purpose of communication. A variety of websites and activities will be suggested for any students who would like exposure outside of the classroom. More exposure means more input and eventually more output! It is important for students and parents to remember that, just as we all learned our first language at different speeds, language learning is a life-long process and acquisition occurs at a different rate for each individual student. Office hours are 8:30 - 9:00am and after school by appointment. Course information and online access codes can provided upon request.
