The Freedom High School Math Honor Society is part of the national Math Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta.  The FHS MHS is not just an honor society, and being a member of the Society means more than just wearing a cool honor cord at graduation.  We are a service organization and provide math help to others in the Freedom Community.  We are also a group of individuals who gather together to share a love of mathematics. 

Expectations of each member:

Provide at least three hours per month of math help to others in the Freedom community.  

Attend and participate in monthly meetings of the Society.

Share and expand her/his love of math!

Applications are now being processed. You will hear abour the status of your application and inductions by the first week of November.

Requirements for membership:

1) Must have completed Algebra 2 or higher.
2) Must have a math GPA of 3.5 or higher.
3) Must be willing and able to provide three or more hours of math-related service to the community
