Dr. Marcela Shiflett

Marcela Shiflett, PhD. earned her Master's Degree in English and Education in 1999 and her PhD. in Translation Sciences in 2017.  She has been a teacher for 18 years, and this is her 5th year as an EL Teacher at John Champe High School.  She is a National Board certified teacher. Prior to working at John Champe High School, Dr. Shiflett worked as an EL teacher at Bluffton High School, where she also served as the APEX Online Education administrator.
