Hello 2nd grade students and parents! My name is Tanya Myers and I am thrilled to entering my 5th year as a member of the Buffalo Trail 2nd grade team!

I am originally from Greensburg, PA.  I moved to Virginia almost 25 years ago and I now call Virginia my home.  I graduated from the University of Phoenix with honors with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.

I have two children.  My oldest is a sophomore at Christopher Newport University and is majoring in Music Composition.  My youngest is an 8th grader at Willard Intermediate School and wants to be a Scientist or Lawyer when he grows up.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends.  I also love watching football on Sundays. Go Steelers! I also enjoy shopping on Amazon and drinking coffee at Starbucks!

I am thrilled for another great year at the Trail!
