Mrs. Sandra Tucker

Mrs. Tucker is a marketing teacher, cooperative education coordinator, a dual enrollment instructor at Rock Ridge High School and an entrepreneurship instructor at the Academies of Loudoun. She is also co-advisor for DECA, the Career and Technical Student Organization associated with the marketing education program, and serves as one of the main point of contacts for The Phoenix Peak, Rock Ridge's award winning school store.

Mrs. Tucker is a certified adjunct professor for Dual Enrollment Advanced Marketing Seminar (NOVA MKT 201) through Northern Virginia Community College and serves Virginia DECA as a Region 1 Representative. 

Prior to joining the ACL and Phoenix faculties, she taught Marketing courses at Potomac Falls High School and Dominion High School where she managed one of the largest DECA chapters in Loudoun County and managed an internationally recognized gold-certified school-based enterprise. She spent three years working at DECA Inc. headquarters as an Assistant Director responsible for the Executive Officer leadership program, new DECA advisor mentoring and DECA chapter recognition programs. 

Mrs. Tucker is the proud parent of two Dominion High School graduates, both of which are graduates of Virginia Tech. Mrs. Tucker is also a proud graduate of Virginia Tech, earning a degree in Marketing Education. Mrs. Tucker also holds a Master's of Education from Marymount University.

Mrs. Tucker holds several industry credentials including the National Retail Federation (NRF) Customer Service and Sales certifications and the W!SE Financial Literacy certification.

Mrs. Tucker is an award-winning educator and was recognized by the Virginia Association of Marketing Educators as the Marketing Teacher of the Year in 2019. She has been recognized several times by Virginia DECA and DECA Inc. as an outstanding DECA advisor.
