Jacqueline Laabs
This is Ms. Laabs's sixth year teaching at Rock Ridge High School. She is teaching Introduction to AP World History I and Academic World History II. Ms. Laabs grew up in Pennsylvania and went to college at the University of Pittsburgh. She graduated with a B.A. in History and a minor in Psychology. While at school she also studied abroad through the Semester at Sea Program run by the University of Virginia. Ms. Laabs then went on to receive a Master's Degree in the Art of Teaching, also from the University of Pittsburgh.
Before becoming a member of the Rock Ridge staff, Ms. Laabs taught World History I, II, and Psychology at Warren Country High School. She also coached the Scholastic Bowl Team and was a co-sponsor for the Key Club at Warren County HS.
Ms. Laabs is very excited to be back at the Rock and is looking forward to a great year, especially helping to manage the Freshman Class and working with the WINGS Mentor Program!
