Jacqueline Laabs

This is Ms. Laabs's ninth year teaching at Rock Ridge High School. She is teaching AP World History- Modern and Introduction to AP World History I. Ms. Laabs grew up in Pennsylvania and went to college at the University of Pittsburgh. She graduated with a B.A. in History and a minor in Psychology. While at school, she also studied abroad through the Semester at Sea Program run by the University of Virginia. Ms. Laabs then went on to receive a Master's Degree in the Art of Teaching, also from the University of Pittsburgh. 

Before becoming a member of the Rock Ridge staff, Ms. Laabs spent four years teaching World History I, II, and Psychology at Warren Country High School. She also coached the Scholastic Bowl Team and was a co-sponsor for the Key Club at Warren County HS.

Ms. Laabs is very excited to be back at the Rock and is looking forward to a great year, especially as co-sponsor for the National Honor Society!
