Mr. Brad Burzumato

Hello Rock Ridge Phoenix!

I am very happy to be teaching in the Social Studies department here at Rock Ridge.  This year, I will be teaching AP World History and the World of Ideas/World Religions Elective, as well as serving as the Head Track & Field Coach for the Phoenix and an Assistant Football Coach for the Tuscarora Huskies.

Born in Memphis, Tennessee, I spent most of my childhood in Charlottesville, Virginia before moving to Savannah, Georgia with my family while in High School. After graduating from H.V. Jenkins High School in Savannah, I attended the University of Georgia, earning Bachelors' of Arts Degrees in History and Philosophy.

I then returned to Charlottesville for Graduate School at the University of Virginia, completing my Master's in Teaching in Secondary Social Studies Education.  I moved to Loudoun in 2014 to begin teaching at Rock Ridge.

I am excited to get to know you over the coming year.  Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions, comments or concerns you may have.
