Ben Burton
A long-time corporate sales veteran in the software, telecommunications, and copier industries, Ben Burton is excited to begin his fourth year at Rock Ridge High School as an ELL Teacher.
Mr. Burton grew up in Arlington County and graduated from Yorktown High School. He was a member of the wrestling team at Ricks College (now Brigham Young University – Idaho), where he earned an Associate’s Degree in Spanish. He completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish from George Mason University, and his teacher training through EducateVA. He is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Educational Technology from James Madison University.
He lives in Ashburn with his wife, four children, and miniature schnauzer. In addition to teaching, Mr. Burton enjoys running, cheering on his children at their sporting events, and dabbles in music production. He manages the Rock Ridge ELL Department’s Twitter feed at @RockRidgeELL.
