Mrs. Walsh-Reed is excited for everyone to join her math class!  She teaches seventh grade math, specifically Foundations of Algebra, Pre-Algebra, and Algebra 1. Mrs. Walsh-Reed has been teaching math at River Bend since 2015.  Before coming to River Bend Mrs. Walsh-Reed taught Physical Science at Mercer MS from 2008-2015. Mrs. Walsh-Reed earned her B.S. in Interdisciplinary Liberal Studies (concentration in math and science) with a minor in Middle School Education and her M.A.T in Middle School Education, both from James Madison University. She has lived in Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina and Texas before deciding to come back to Virginia. In her free time, Mrs. Walsh-Reed enjoys riding bikes, going on hikes, and spending time with her husband, two children, and two dogs. Mrs. Walsh-Reed can't wait to work with you all this year!
