Hi! I received my B.A. in History from the University of Dallas and gained my Master's degree in Reading from George Mason University. I began my teaching career in Irving, Texas in 2000. I taught history and reading for Manassas City Public Schools for 13 years, taking a two year hiatus to visit Japan, and act as a cultural instructor. I joined Loudoun County as a reading specialist and joined the RVHS founding family in 2015. This year I am co-teaching 21st Century Literacy II with Ms. Wood, teaching 21st Century Literacy 1, and co-teaching with Ms. Ulloa in English 9A, period 6.
All of my literacy classes are updated each class in the google classroom. All students are enrolled (automatically), but need to accept the invitation. Please check the gradebook and classroom for information on upcoming assignments, due dates, and class information.
