Hello Eagle Ridge Families! 

This is my seventh year in LCPS and my first year at Eagle Ridge! I am super excited to be joining a wonderful school and community! I am originally from Pittsburgh, PA and bleed black and gold. I graduated from Duquesne University in 2014 with my B.S. in Middle Level Education, concentrating in Reading and Language Arts. In 2016, I completed my Masters in Reading and Language Arts at Duquesne University where I obtained my Reading Specialist certification.

A little bit about myself, my fiance Kevin and I are getting married this fall and are very excited to be planting roots in the area with a new house build! We are also obsessed dog parents to our Goldendoodles Rooney and Scooter! Besides spending time with Rooney and Scooter, I like to read, play games, watch Steeler football, spend time with family, and work out.

You can always find me curled up on the couch reading on my kindle as I believe the more we read, the more we know! I hope to instill passion in my students, whether that is in reading or any other interest, hobby, or activity. Teaching language arts and reading allows me to experience the creativity students bring to the table. The most rewarding aspect of teaching is using student curiosity and creativity to think outside the box. It is all about the “ah-ha!” moment. That being said, I am here to work with students, parents, and the faculty to make a positive and caring learning environment at Eagle Ridge.
