Mr. Pickering is married to the wonderful Mrs. Pickering, and they have a beautiful daughter and new baby son who consistently ensure that Mr. Pickering is on his best behavior. He is a fan of all things Philadelphia, but in his years in Northern Virginia has developed a strong affinity for the DMV as well. He enjoys a good book, a hot cup of coffee and spending his time learning obscure, trivial facts – and tweeting about them. The 2017-2018 school year will be his ninth year in education, and eighth year in Loudoun County Public Schools.
