Mrs. Spooner is starting her 15th year teaching Special Education. Prior to teaching at Lovettsville Elementary School, Mrs. Spooner taught at Catoctin Elementary School in Leesburg and at Potowmack Elementary School in Sterling, as well as teaching at Forest Edge Elementary School in Fairfax County.  Mrs. Spooner has a B.S. degree in Childhood and Special Education from Daemen College, in Buffalo, New York. She also has a Masters degree in Literacy from Medaille College, in Buffalo, New York.

     In her spare time, Mrs. Spooner enjoys playing outside with her daughter, son, and husband, as well as going for walks with her family and their dog Kane. They often travel up to Buffalo, New York to visit with family and friends.  She also takes her children to the pool to relax and enjoy the sun!
