Mrs. Rochelle Proctor
Rochelle Proctor is the proud new Principal of Middle-burg Community Charter School! Mrs. Proc-tor brings to Mid-dleburg a wealth of experience, including over 20 years as a teacher, 8 years as an elementary school administra-tor, and 3 years as a private school director. Mrs. Proctor holds under-graduate and graduate degrees from James Madison University, graduate degree from SU, and ad-ditional study in Gifted Education, Special Education and Behavioral
Development from UVA. Mrs. Proc-tor has led system wide curriculum development and teacher profes-sional development in Language Arts, Brain-based learning, Behav-ioral Supports, Social/Natural Sci-ence and Mathematics. She has worked as clinical faculty at James Madison University, Bridgewater College and Marymount University working to develop teachers enter-ing the profession. Mrs. Proctor has served on the Virginia Elementary Board of Directors, and represented the interests of students across the state of Virginia at VDOE, the Gen-eral Assembly and on Capital Hill.
Mrs. Proctor has led profes-sional sessions on Behavioral Supports, STEM and Brain-based practices both at county, state and national conferences. Overall, Mrs. Proctor loves students and teachers. She will do what it takes to have everyone succeed and love learning!
