Professional BiographyKristin BurnsHealth and PE
Mrs. Burns is in her 15th year of teaching health, drivers education, and physical education. She has taught thirteen years in Loudoun County, five at Stone Bridge, two at Broad Run, and this is her seventh at Riverside. She also spent a year teaching health, physical education, and sports medicine in New Jersey. Mrs. Burns went to James Madison University and graduated in 2006 with a degree in Kinesiology and Health Science. She also graduated in 2007 with her master’s degree in Adapted Physical Education from the University of Virginia. She coached girls lacrosse for six years. Mrs. Burns is married to her husband Jeremy, and they have four children, Gianna, Nicholas, Sofia, and Vincent. She is looking forward to another great year at Riverside and very excited for the upcoming school year. Mrs. Burns is also the cosponsor of the junior class.
