Professional Biography Dan Wojcik
EnglishMr. Dan Wojcik holds a Bachelor's of Arts degree in English with a focus on Creative Writing from Virginia Tech (2003) and a Master's of Science in Education from Shenandoah University (2009). He has taught in Loudoun County for the past 15 years, moving to Riverside High School from Broad Run High School during RVHS's charter year. In the past, Mr. Wojcik has taught 9th and 12th grade English, Creative Writing, Fundamentals of Writing, Journalism, News Journalism, Photojournalism, Advanced Composition, and World Literature.
He is currently the Publications Adviser for the English Department and oversees the publications (online and print) at Riverside High School. This includes both the yearbook and news journalism programs. He also sponsors an after-school journalism club for students that wish to contribute to the publications but have not been able to fit it into their class schedules.
