Farmwell Library Book ClubThe Farmwell Library Book Club meets monthly from September through March. We meet on the last Wednesday of every month (there are a few exceptions, so check the schedule carefully) in the library during each lunch shift. The first 35 students to join in the program will receive a copy of each title that we will be reading. Students will need to discuss the selection with a member of the library staff if they are unable to attend a meeting before receiving the next title. Students may join beyond the 35 but will need to provide their own copy of the book.
Writers consider the Virginia Readers' Choice Award a top literary prize because students nominate and select the winning book.
In March, each qualified voter has one vote for his/her favorite book. A tally sheet will be prepared and submitted by the librarians to the Virginia State Reading Association, sponsors of the award.STOP BY THE LIBRARY TO PICK UP A PAMPHLET.
