Kids spend 7.75 to 10.5 hours (if they are multitasking) with media every day, which is more than they do with their families or in school. That profoundly impacts their social, emotional, and physical development. This new digital world can be a problem or an opportunity. Common Sense is dedicated to helping to raise a generation of kids who use media wisely and well.

We want our students to be good digital citizens. Loudoun Valley is currently working with students using this program to make students more aware of the opportunities and pitfalls of using media so that they will be able to use media safely and productively to enhance their learning.
