Tri-M Music Honor Society-The Tri-M Music Honor Society is the international music honor society for high school students. Students are invited to join as juniors and seniors. It is designed to recognize students for their academic and musical achievements, reward them for their accomplishments and service activities, and to inspire other students to excel in music and leadership.
To be considered for nomination a student must have at least two years in one of the following music organizations- Choir, Band, Strings or Guitar. The student must also continue in music at school, maintain a 3.5 in music courses and a 2.8 overall. Candidates are selected from music students that exhibit exceptional scholarship, leadership, character, and service to their school and community. Each student must audition in front of advisors in order to be considered for membership. There is a $25 membership fee.
