    MY BIO HERE

    Hello Parents and Students of Riverside High School.  I am excited for the 2019-2020 school year.
     

    I have been teaching Business and Marketing for 27 years.  This is my 17th year in Loudoun County and my 5th year at Riverside.  I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Western Illinois University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Northern Illinois University. 

     

    I am currently teaching Sports and Entertainment Marketing and Advanced Marketing. I am a DECA advisor and have been involved with DECA for 27 years as well.  I am the CTE Department Chair and an active member of Virginia Association of Marketing Educators.  I am also the advisor for The Ram Shack, Riverside’s School Store as well as assisting with The Rams to Lambs mentorship program. 

    Office Hours:  Before school from 8:30 - 9:10 am.  Please email me no later than 5 pm the previous day to ensure that I am available.

     Late work will be accepted.

    One DAY late = Highest grade of a 90%

    Turned-in next school day = Highest grade of 80%

    Turned in WITHIN 10 calendar school days of due date = Highest grade of 80%

    Turned in AFTER 10 calendar school days = accepted for a grade based on the teacher’s discretion.

     
    Students will have 2 blocks after an assessment to make arrangements for remediation before retaking the test/project. Students will receive the higher of the two grades up to a maximum of 84%.
