- Why BYOT?

BYOT has been implemented in LCPS to engage students with technology at higher levels. Most high school students have some type of device with wi-fi capability. We have open wi-fi to allow teachers and students to engage with the plethora of online resources available to enhance learning through the curriculum and engages students through the 4 C's of 21st Century Learning:
Critical thinking, Communication, Collaboration, and Creativity.
As we introduce BYOT at Tuscarora, we are educating students on Digital Literacy with Common Sense Media Digital Citizenship lessons.
