Mrs. Burch

Welcome, Eagles! I am excited to be back for my seventh year at Freedom as the Transition Teacher. I have a passion for helping students achieve their post-secondary plans and I enjoy working with students and their families to explore the many options available to them beyond the walls of FHS.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Elon University. I also have a Master's Degree in Special Education from University of Virginia. I live in the South Riding community with my husband, 2 daughters- who are also FHS Eagles and our 2 rescue dogs!

I am excited to work with the students of Freedom and to assist them in planning their futures and transition to life after High School!
