    This is Mrs. Emmert’s fifthteenth year at Farmwell Station Middle School.  In addition to teaching seventh-grade Communication Studies classes, Mrs. Emmert will also be teaching eighth-grade Exploratory Dramatics.  She currently works with eighth-grade students in creating the daily morning news show, "The Breakfast Bunch," and is in charge of the quarterly school newspaper, The Waffle Zone.
     
    Mrs. Emmert was also assistant director and backstage manager for Farmwell's musical, Lion King, Jr. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in secondary English and speech education from The Ohio State University.  Before working in Loudoun County, Mrs. Emmert was employed with Fairfax County Schools for several years.   She also taught middle-school language arts and drama for six years in Ohio.
