    Mr Moya is in his third year here at PVHS. Mr Moya has over 20 years of ELL teaching experience. Mr Moya earned his Bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Washington DC. Then Mr Moya earned his Master's degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from Trinity University. 
    Mr Moya started his ELL teaching career in his hometown of Washington DC. He worked for DC public schools. In 2011 Mr Moya decided to bring his years of ELL teaching experience to Virginia. Mr Moya earned his teaching license in 2011 and started teaching for LCPS. Mr Moya started teaching at the elementary level for LCPS. After three years there Mr Moya decided to move on to his preferred age group which is high school in 2014. Mr Moya is very happy to be at PVHS where there is a huge ELL student body as well as a large ELL teaching faculty.  This school year 2016-2017 Mr Moya is lead teaching EWL 1 in blocks 5 and 7 and EWL 2 in blocks 2 and 8. Mr Moya is also co-teaching Tech Ed in block 4.
     
    Mr Moya has a passion for teaching ELL(sometimes called ESL or ESOL). He enjoys working with the ELL students of PVHS and appreciates the diverse experience that PVHS offers him . Mr Moya is excited to bring his bilingual skills (Spanish) to the PVHS ELL classroom. He enjoys working with the large community of Spanish speaking students that come from all of Latin America and the world!
