    Mrs. Colbert’s Computer Science and Applications

       During her 20th year with Loudoun County Public Schools, Mrs. Colbert teaches Introduction to Computer Applications to 6th grade and  Introduction to Computer Science (ICS), Computer Science Foundations (CSF) to both 7th and 8th grade at Trailside Middle School.  Prior to teaching in Loudoun County, she worked for Northern Virginia Community College as an Adjunct Professor and various government agencies and corporations, including the United States General Accounting Office, the New York City Transit Authority, New Jersey Bell, Bell Atlantic, and Verizon, Inc.

       My outside interests include Pilates, Sun, Sea, Sand, Swimming and solving Su Doku puzzles.  After school, I sponsor the Scratch Coders Club led by a student facilitator.  I mentor new Introduction to Computer Application and Computer Teachers
