Mrs. Melinda Shingler
For the 2022-2023 school year, Mrs. Shingler is teaching two sections of English 11 Honors and three sections of English 12 Academic with team teacher Mrs. Evangelisto. Mrs. Shingler is entering her ninth year at Loudoun County High School and her fourteenth year of teaching. She previously taught at Broad Run High School, Dominion High School, and began her teaching career at Loudoun County High School - 23 years ago! Mrs. Shingler also serves as the Lead Mentor for all new teachers at LCHS.
In her free time, Mrs. Shingler enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters. She enjoys running, lifting weights, rooting for the Steelers and Penguins, and indulging in photography.
