Welcome to 2nd grade!

I can’t wait to get to know you and your child as they make their way into 2nd grade. I believe that learning should be fun and engaging for all students, and I look forward to all of the great learning opportunities that we will experience as a class this year. My personal teaching philosophy is to reach ALL students by leaerning their unique needs and interests, and to make sure they have a positive learning experience and opportunities in the classroom. I strive to make sure that each student has the opportunity to feel success at school and feel confident in their abilities.

About Me

I graduated from Virginia Tech where I obtained my undergraduate degree and my Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction in Elementary Education- Go Hokies! Before college, I lived and graduated in Loudoun County. The 2019-2020 school year will be my sixth year teaching at Cool Spring Elementary and I couldn't be prouder to be a part of such a warm and caring school community.

In my free time I love to bake, run, and spend time with my dog, Daisy.
