Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Bodkin

Hi! My husband, David, and I live in Clarke County. I have an undergraduate and a graduate degree from James Madison University in special education. We have 3 grown children; both of our daughters are married and live in Richmond, and our son just relocated to Denver. We have a beautiful (new) granddaughter in Richmond and are absolutely smitten! We also have 2 yellow English labs that keep us smiling! Our hobbies include snow skiing, gardening, hiking, biking and relaxing in the hammock.

This will be my seventh year at Round Hill Elementary School as a resource teacher. I enjoy co-teaching and love children! Though I have co-taught in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grades, this year I will be working in 4th grade!

I taught Early Childhood Special Education in Loudoun County for 17 years before transferring to Clarke County to teach in my children's schools (on their schedule!).

As I begin my '30 something' year of teaching, I look forward to working with the students, staff and parents of Round Hill Elementary! It is great fun being a Round Hill Bear!
