This is my 13th year working in the counseling department for Farmwell Station Middle School and I am looking forward to getting to know your students and helping them transition here as well as teach them valuable lessons so they can have the best middle school experience.

This year I will be meeting with students individually, in small groups and in large group classroom lessons. We will be talking frequently about bullying, standing up for yourself and confidence and belief in yourself.
In the spring we will be looking at course selections and making adjustments to be prepared for 7th grader.

I completed my B.S.W. in Social Work with a minor in English from Ferrum College in Ferrum, Virginia.  I then went on to complete my Master of Arts Degree in Psychological Services with a concentration in School Counseling (K-12) from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. I grew up in Loudoun County and am proud to call it my home!  I am married with two boys, Ashton (7)and Noah (4).  When we are not watching them play sports, we are traveling, enjoying life and are on the move experiencing all life has to offer!

Feel free to connect with me anytime this year with any questions or concerns that may arise.  I look forward to working with you and your student over the next 3 years.
