    Welcome Kindergarten Families!

I am Mrs. Repola and I am thrilled to be your child's teacher this year! Let me start by telling you a little about me. I grew up in New York. I have my Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences, a precursor to a career in Speech-Language Pathology.  While applying to grad school, I worked for a preschool and discovered a passion for being a classroom teacher. I earned her Master's degree in Education and moved to Virginia in search of employment. This will be my twelfth year of teaching kindergarten. Time flies when you are having fun!

Kindergarten is a great year for kids. It is a time when children grow confident in their abilities and learn how to love learning. I feel that I have been called to teach kindergarten because I love seeing the spark in a child's eyes when something finally clicks and seeing that huge amount of growth throughout the year.

Aside from teaching, I love to spend time with my family. My husband Paul and I have two beautiful girls, Ellie, age 16, and Sam, age 11.  We enjoy hiking, reading lots of fiction books, and singing.  We love the beauty of Loudoun's mountains and I could not imagine living anywhere else!

I am eagerly anticipating a school year full of joy, laughter, and learning. I look forward to having such a wonderful time discovering new things together and can’t wait to meet you all!
