Mrs. Rebecca Caldwell

My name is Rebecca Caldwell and I am very excited to be starting my eighth year in LCPS and first year at Aldie Elementary as your Librarian! 

 

I graduated from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania in 2010 with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and certification in Early Childhood Education.  In July of 2013 I received my certification in Library Science PK-12. In that same month I went back to graduate school at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and I will receive my Master's in Reading and certification as a Reading Specialist on August 13th, 2014. 

 

I went back to school one more time and received my Masters in Blended and Online Learning in 2019. I love being able to combine library and technology as often as I can!

 

In my spare time I love to read, play and watch sports especially volleyball and I'm also an avid Pittsburgh Penguins fan, shop, and spend time with my husband and our dog, Cheste,r as well as our family and friends. I look forward to being your new elementary Librarian!
