• Welcome to Mrs. Broadfoot's Webpage!
I am excited to be teaching mathematics here at Eagle Ridge!  This year I will be teaching Algebra 1 and Geometry.
Please use this web page for general information about our classes.
I look forward to providing a challenging year in math, with numerous opportunities for academic growth, creativity and critical thinking!
This is my 12th year teaching mathematics at the middle school level and my 6th year at Eagle Ridge.  I taught first in Fairfax County for 6 years at Mark Twain Middle School and Lanier Middle School.   Prior to becoming a teacher, I was the Director of Finance for the National Philharmonic and spent many years teaching dance / choreography to students at the collegiate level.
I have a earned a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from The George Washington University as well as a Master of Arts in Dance from American University.  I also have a VA Postgraduate Professional License in Education with endorsements in Secondary Mathematics, Middle Education Grade 6-8 Mathematicsand Middle Education Grade 6-8 Language Arts.
I live in Ashburn and enjoy exploring the area with my husband Brian, our twin children Addison and William, and our dog Reese!

Students can find a summary of the day’s activities in Google Classroom.  Homework notes, test and quiz dates can be found in the announcement section of the StudentVue/ParentVue Class Website which is linked to Google Calendar and Classroom.
