ff  Mrs. Stapf

I am a Rhode Island girl with a Virginia address!  I live in Lovettsville with my husband and two growing boys. William is the oldest, and this year he is a senior at Woodgrove High School.  Nicholas is a freshman and he too will be attending Woodgrove High School. When I am not at school I can be found: hiding out at the beach, getting a pedicure, or READING!!!!

I have a Master's Degree in Elementary and Middle Level Education from The State University of New York. A few years ago, I went back to college to obtain my Reading Specialist Certification from Shenandoah University.  I have experience working as both a middle and elementary classroom teacher.  I have taught in New York, Rhode Island, and Virginia.  This will be my twelfth year working in education, and my seventh year at Smart's Mill as a Reading Specialist.

This is me and my husband Bill.  This picture was taken at one of my favorite spots in Rhode Island!

Here are my boys, Nicholas and William. This is one of the few pictures where they are not trying to kill each other!

This is our dog Willow.  We adopted her this May from a rescue group called Save the Tails.  She used to live in West Virginia on a farm.  She and her sister got in a lot of mischief out there chasing cows!

This is Rasberry and Garfield.  They are brother and sister. We adopted both of them as kittens from the Loudoun County Animal Shelter.  They have been a part of our family for six years now.  Rasberry is brave and snuggley.  Garfield is shy and has the softest fur.
