I am a Rhode Island girl with a Virginia address!  I live in Lovettsville with my husband and two boys. William is my oldest, he is a college student attending the University of Northwestern Ohio.  Nicholas is a senior at Woodgrove High School, and is very excited about graduating this year! When I am not at school I can be found: hiding out at the beach, getting a pedicure, or swinging in my hammock READING a good book!

I have a Master's Degree in Elementary and Middle Level Education from The State University of New York. After teaching for five years I returned to college to obtain my Reading Specialist Certification from Shenandoah University.  I have experience working as both a middle and elementary level classroom teacher.  I have taught in New York, Rhode Island, and Virginia.  This will be my fifteenth year working in education, and my tenth year at Smart's Mill as a Reading Specialist.

This is my husband Bill and I.  This picture was taken at one of our favorite spots in Rhode Island!

Here are my boys, Nicholas and William. This is one of the few pictures where they are not trying to kill each other!

This is our dog Willow enjoying some nap time in the sunshine!  We adopted her from a rescue group called Save the Tails.  She used to live in West Virginia on a farm.  She and her sister got in a lot of mischief out there chasing cows!

This is Rasberry and Garfield.  We adopted both of them as kittens from the Loudoun County Animal Shelter.  Rasberry is brave and snuggley and her brother Garfield has the softest fur!
