    Biographical Information:
     
    This is Mr. Root’s seventh year at Smart’s Mill. He has been teaching middle school in Loudoun County for the past 20 years. Mr. Root holds a Bachelors degree from Lock Haven University in Pennsylvania in the area of Special Education. He attained his Master’s degree from Shenandoah University in Virginia in the area of Educational Administration.  He currently teaches Technology Education in the seventh and eighth grade.
