Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year! My name is Kim Haines and I am very excited to be your child’s first grade teacher. This is my 14th year teaching in Loudoun County. I attended Oakton High School in Fairfax County and then earned my undergraduate degree in Communications and Early Childhood Education from James Madison University. I live in Ashburn with my husband and our four children. When I am not teaching, you can find me at my boys football, basketball and baseball games or at my daughters dance events. My hopes for this year is to help your child develop a love for learning as well as nurture each students own unique gifts. I am looking forward to a wonderful year of learning in first grade! As always, please contact me with any questions or concerns. Welcome to Legacy!
