    Ms. Washington holds a bachelors degree in Music Education from James Madison University. She earned her masters degree in Music Education from Shenandoah Conservatory. She has been teaching for more than 25 years. She began her teaching career in Fairfax County and later moved to Loudoun where she has taught at the elementary, middle school and high school levels. Ms. Washington has also served as an adjudicator, guest clinician , mentor and guest conductor for local and district events. Her groups have consistently received superior ratings at choral festivals and district events.

    She is happy to have the opportunity to share music with the students at Harmony Middle School this year!

    Staying Informed

    I post my assignments and class announcements through my Schoology classes. Please check there frequently for assignments, announcements, and other important information. Students can find access their courses through the Schoology app in LCPSGo.

    Parents are able to see each of their child's classes, including assignments, calendars, and notices. There is a link to Schoology in Phoenix.

    Phoenix is the official grade book for all Loudoun County Public Schools. My grade book will be updated weekly. ParentVue

    Did you forget when an assignment was due? Check here.

    Parents and Students, you can sync my classroom calendar to the one on your phone or other personal device. Please email me to the calendar information that you will need. I will be glad to share it.

    Here are handouts, study guides, and directions for projects. This folder would be set as Public so students and parents can access what is in there without signing in.
