Ms. Nicole Cobb
Ms. Nicole Cobb has been teaching at PVHS since 2014. Currently, she serves as a reading specialist and English department chair. Ms. Cobb has taught many English and reading classes over the years including English 9 & 10, Newspaper, Journalism, and 21st Century Literacy. Her passion is for helping students find their love of reading and to help them become life-long readers.
Ms. Cobb is from Pittsburgh, PA, where much of her family still resides. She is a fan of all Pittsburgh sports teams and may often be seen wearing her Black and Gold on Fridays. During her undergraduate studies, she attended Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania to pursue her degree in English education. After moving to Virginia, she chose to get her Masters degree in literacy from George Mason to further support students in reading at the high school level.
