Mrs. McCormick joined River Bend Middle School in 2014. She earned her Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Caldwell University, and spent many years in the corporate world, and as an Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Navy.  In 2006, she earned a Masters degree in Education from Mercy College through the New York City Teaching Fellows Program, where in addition to pursuing her degree, she worked as a full-time teacher in the Bronx, NY.

Mrs. McCormick loves sports. When she has some down time you can find her rooting for the Washington Capitals, New York Mets, or New York Giants.

A Sterling resident, wife and mother, and active in the PTA and Community Outreach, Mrs. McCormick loves teaching in her community and being a part of the Raven Nation.
