Degrees and Certifications:
This is my second year with MCCS, and I am so excited to continue to be a part of this amazing community.
In 2020, I received my BA in Special and Elementary Education from Western Governors University. Next summer, I plan to go back to school (or sooner... we will see) to get my Master's in Curriculum and Instruction. My passion is creating activities that are accessible, fun, and engaging for all scholars.
I grew up in Hunterdon, New Jersey, and moved to Virginia in 2016. Now, I live about 40 minutes from Skyline Drive in the Shenandoah Vally which offers amazing adventuring opportunities. Originally, I taught in a private preschool in Fairfax and then jumped to Sterling Middle School in 2018 where I taught Resource for grades 6-8.
Now, I'm back where my heart is happiest - exploring and learning in elementary. I am also a professional dancer and was a principal dancer with George Mason University's Winter Guard from 2017-2019. After a short hiatus to finish my degree, I plan to return to them this season if COVID-19 allows us to compete!
