As a graduate of Languages and Linguistics from Georgetown University, and a recipient of a Master's degree in Secondary Education and Curriculum from George Mason University, I am thrilled to be a returning member of the pack at Trailside, year 9! I eagerly look forward to a great year teaching Spanish. I wholeheartedly say, "Bienvenidos" to my students.

Although I am a New Yorker at heart from the Hudson Valley, Virginia has been my home for many years. I have lived in Mexico and lived and studied in Spain. In the summer of 2015, I was awarded a scholarship by the NEH to study at the famous Prado Museum in Madrid and in 2016, I attended a worldwide conference on Human Rights at the Hague. Since then, I have traveled to Germany and to England, where I visited many National Trust Country Houses in Bath, the Peak District, the Lake District, London and places where they filmed Downton Abbey. I couldn't help but fall in love with British history and literature. In my free time, I am an avid reader, love to garden and spend time with my family and our dog, Opie, an English Lab.
