Ms. Rene Grady

I love being a member of the Trailside Pack!  I will be teaching Math 6 and 6th Grade Resource this year.  I hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance from James Madison University and worked for both the Federal government and the State of Virginia in the finance/accounting field.  After I began volunteering in my children's classrooms as they started school, I decided to change careers when I went back to work and obtained my Master's degree in Special Education with endorsements in Accounting, General Business, and Special Education K-12.  I have earned my highly qualified designation in Middle School Mathematics, Language Arts, History, and Science.  I am excited to share my love of education with the students at Trailside.  I currently live in Purcellville with my three children, Alison (19), Robert (17), and Dillon (14).  I enjoy supporting my children's sports and school events.  My daughter is an accomplished hunt seat rider and is attending Otterbein University in Columbus, Ohio.  She is in the nursing program.  My son Robert plays the guitar, works at Sweet Frog, and is deciding where to go to college.  My younger son is a Freshman at Loudoun Valley High School.  Both boys play lacrosse and basketball.  I am looking forward to a new year at Trailside!
