Ms. Sara Watkins - English Teacher

Ms. Watkins received her BA from James Madison University, with a major in History and a minor in Writing and Rhetoric.  She earned her MA in Curriculum and Instruction, Special Education K-12 from The College of William and Mary. She taught in Alexandria, VA, for six years, in the subject areas of English and Social Studies. English has been her sole focus since switching to Loudoun County and joining the Rock Ridge team in 2014.  Ms. Watkins loves working with all students, and looks forward every year to new experiences.

Ms. Watkins' hobbies include spending time with her husband and their two kids and dog.  She loves reading and will spend every available moment with her nose in a book if given a choice. Spending time in nature and free writing are two of her preferred relaxation methods.
