I came to USA from Morocco, where I received my Master's Degree in Psychology in 1993. I'm happy to have realized my dream of being a teacher, the dream that always tickled my emotions. I taught for two years at the Morocco Institute of Technology. Then I got the chance to work for 2 years in a middle school.  When I came to the United States, I worked with children of all ages for ten years. After this experience, I decided to advance my skills, so I registered at NVCC to get my CDA (Child development associate degree) and become a professional in the early childhood field. I worked with LCPS for six years at Steuart Weller ES as ELL TA. I also worked with SA in Summer School. Becoming a teacher has made me realize how truly important my role is to the kids. I understand that their future depends on what we teach them everyday.  Working as an educator doesn't only help me as a teacher, but also makes me a proud mom of 2 great kids (Othman, Nasroallah).

I enjoy playing indoors and outdoors, reading, cooking, watching movies, and traveling with my husband and kids.
I'm so happy to be a member of Trailside School as an Instructional Assistant.

I am excited to be at Trailside for my fourth year!  I started as an Instructional Assistant for two years, and last year I became a Resource teacher for grades 6 and 7. I have lived in Ashburn for 13 years with my husband and four children. My youngest son is a junior at Stone Bridge High School, I have a daughter at JMU, a son at Penn State, and a son who graduated from UVA.

Before becoming a stay-at-home-mom, I worked for Mobil Oil Corp. and Sears Corp. in marketing and financial analysis roles. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Economics from University of Delaware. My favorite things to do include gardening, exercising outdoors, and going to the beach, especially Cape Cod! I am really looking forward to another great year with the students and staff at Trailside!

I am very excited to work as a Resource/Study hall teacher at Trailside Middle School. For the past 4 years I have been a frequent substitute teacher at the school and found that I enjoy working in the school environment. I have substituted at various schools but Trailside is my favorite!

For several years I taught Algebra and Geometry in Virginia and then in New Jersey. After marrying and moving to New Jersey I got my Master’s degree in Statistics from Rutgers University and worked for a large corporation until our children arrived.  We lived in New Jersey for 12 years and then in England for 4 years.

We finally moved back to Virginia and live in Fairfax County. Our children are grown now but stay with us some of the time. Our oldest son is an attorney in Northern Virginia and our daughter is the owner and director of a local ballet studio. Our youngest son graduated last year from WVU and is a manager with Norfolk Southern Corp.

I am also a Realtor and occasional costume assistant for my daughter’s studio. When I have free time, I like to read or go to the beach.

I have a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology, specializing in child psychology, from George Mason University. I speak fluent Spanish and some French. The majority of my experience is in teaching math and science to middle school age children. I look forward to sharing my talents and experience with your children at our new school.

I am excited to mark my tenth year in LCPS by joining the Pack here at Trailside as an Instructional Assistant in special education. Most recently I was at Smarts Mill Middle in a similar position. Middle school students are my favorite group to work with. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Economics.

My husband, Rob and I have lived in Leesburg for 17 years, and our two children have gone all the way through LCPS schools, graduating from Loudoun County High School. Our daughter lives in Richmond and our son is a junior at Christopher Newport University. Hanging out with them tops the list of my favorite things. Another favorite thing is reading! I’ve been a member of book discussion group for nearly 15 years. Please share titles of any great books that you’ve read!

I love spending time with my family, my dog (Maya) and my loved ones. I love to travel. In my free time I am a professional make-up artist and I love everything related to that field.

I am delighted to be returning to Trailside for my third year as an Instructional Assistant. Before joining the pack, I was an early childhood teacher for 5 years and I worked for St. Johns County Public Schools in Florida. I realized my passion for teaching at a young age. Preparing and teaching my own children before they went off to school really sealed the deal. Becoming a licensed ELL teacher is one of my current objectives. As a former ELL student myself, I understand the frustration, challenges, and rewards that comes with being an English Language Learner.

In my free time I absolutely love spending time with my kids, either watching movies, going sightseeing or just hanging out. I have two girls, one in college, the other in high school and my youngest is in middle school. I am excited to be back! I look forward to working with the students and our wonderful staff!

Hello Timberwolves!

I’m excited to begin my fourth year as an Instructional Assistant at Trailside!  I was an LCPS substitute for two years.  Before becoming a stay-at-home mom, I was a Program Manager for Sprint.  I have a degree in Business Management from Old Dominion University. Go Monarchs!

I live in Ashburn with my husband and two children. My children are 12th graders at Stone Bridge High School. We have lived in Ashburn for 20 years.  I was born in DC and grew up in Montgomery County, Maryland. Therefore, I am a huge Washington Redskins fan! My husband is an Eagles fan, so it’s always an entertaining time in our house when the two teams play each other. I’m looking forward to working with all the students and staff at Trailside.

I am very excited to start my 3rd year here at Trailside Middle School. I am one of the 8th grade Resource teachers and I look forward to helping the students develop consistent study habits to prepare them for high school. Before I started at TMS, I was a substitute for LCPS for 4 years mainly at Newton Lee Elementary and Belmont Ridge Middle School. My husband and I have lived in Ashburn for over 15 years and have two sons. One is a senior at Riverside this year and the other is a sophomore at Virginia Tech. It’s hard to believe that at the end of this year I will be an empty nester!

I am from Latrobe, PA so of course I am a huge Steeler fan. Latrobe is famous for many things: the Steelers Training camp, a hometown family friend, Arnold Palmer and also my real neighbor, Mr. Rogers. Before working in LCPS, I was in the accounting field. I graduated from Penn State University with an accounting degree and worked several years auditing with Ernst & Young in Washington DC. Once I had children, I was fortunate enough to be able to stay home.

I usually spend lots of weekend time at soccer games with our son, at the beach (Ocean City, MD), or just relaxing with my spoiled miniature Schnauzer, Ella. Most do not agree but I also enjoy yardwork and reading in my spare time. I am excited to start this year, but it is also bitter-sweet with a graduating senior.

I spent 3 years as a Technology Assistant and the last 6 years as an Instructional Assistant.  Prior to joining LCPS, I substituted and volunteered. I was employed for 15 years at ExxonMobil before taking time off to be a stay-at-home mom.   I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. I have 2 adult children and my husband and I enjoy traveling. My other hobbies are cooking and reading.  I look forward to another exciting year at Trailside.

It’s a honor to have the opportunity to join a great staff and student body here at Trailside! I was born and raised in Washington, DC. After a stellar high school athletic career, I accepted a full athletic award scholarship to play football at Howard University in Washington, DC. After my athletic career at Howard, I had the opportunity of fulfilling my childhood dream of attending two professional football camps, one with the Philadelphia Eagles in 98 and with the Baltimore Ravens in 99. After being released from the Ravens, I was offered a coaching job at Fairfax County Public Schools. This lead the way to a great career in education, both the private and public sectors with in the school systems.

In my spare time I enjoy building my business and mastering my craft as "Thee Pit Master" (I'm the BBQ King of the D.C. Metropolitan Area). In addition, I enjoy spending quality time with my wife Melissa, threes sons, Trey, Christian, Steven Jr. and daughter Niya Milan. This is going to be a great year!

I am excited to begin another year at Trailside Middle School this year! This will mark my 4th year with Loudoun county Public Schools, and what a great place to be! I am a Special Education Instructional Assistant and I feel very privileged to be able to work with so many wonderful and inspiring children everyday.

Before becoming a stay-at-home-mom for many years I worked in the banking industry for 18 years. My family and I have lived in Virginia for almost 10 years and coming from the west coast I am so happy to be able to enjoy all 4 seasons on this side of the country. When not working I enjoy spending time with family & friends, cooking, baking and I especially love time spent at the Jersey Shore. I am an avid reader and an Ashburn Library dedicated volunteer and it is one of my favorite places to be. I look forward to continuing another fantastic journey here at Trailside!
