This year, I am honored and pleased to serve the Trailside Middle School 'Timber Wolves' community as 8th Grade House Secretary. I earned a B.A. degree in Chemistry from the University of Delaware and a Teaching License from West Chester University. I taught middle school science in the Brandywine School District in Delaware, before our family moved to Leesburg, Virginia.  Though we’ve lived here in Virginia for 19 years, as originally we’re from the suburbs of Philadelphia, I continue to root tirelessly for Philadelphia's Sports Teams - namely the Phillies, Flyers, and Eagles.

I am excited to be working as a Main Office Administrative Assistant in my 7th year at Trailside.  This will be my first year in the main office, having worked in the 6th, 7th and 8th grade house offices in years prior.  Before becoming a school secretary, I spent the previous 18 years working for a marketing company as an Account Manager.

I am originally from Glen Burnie, MD and attended the University of Maryland at College Park, where I received my degree in Marketing.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time at the lake during the summer, with my husband and two children, and playing with our dogs Dozer (a Shepherd mix) and Maggie (a Mastiff). I’m looking forward to another great year at Trailside.

I am excited to start my seventh year at Trailside!  This year I will be part of the 7th Grade team working as the House Office Administrative Assistant.

I earned a B.A. Degree in Psychology and worked in Human Resources for SAIC in San Diego and Northern Virginia after my husband and I relocated to the area for our jobs.  I have a son who is a Junior at Indiana University (Go Hoosiers) and a daughter who is a senior at Stone Bridge (Go Bulldogs)!

Some things I enjoy in my free time are traveling, spending quality time with family and friends, running and relaxing with a good book!

I look forward to supporting our amazing 7th Grade students and their families for the 20/21 school year!

GO TIMBERWOLVES!

I am so excited to get year seven underway here at Trailside!  We have registered so many wonderful new students over the summer, and I am eager to "see" all of the faces both returning and new.  You will find me every day, in my new location... the 8th Grade House, there I will oversee Attendance and Registration.    It will be much quieter than I am used to, and I eagerly look forward to the time when students will be joining me in the 8th Grade Hallways.  In my free time, I am mother to four boys, aged 25, 24, 21 and 20 (whew!) and a beautiful dog named Lilly (we don't discuss her age :-)  My husband keeps our family busy as a basketball coach at a local high school.  You will see us out and about in Ashburn and neighboring areas attending sporting events and walking the dog.  This year we are excited to be adding a new daugther in law to our family, as our eldest son (whom the students know as Mr. Substitute) marries in early September.   As we journey though this 7th year, I look forward to assisting our students and parents in whatever way I can.

I’m looking forward to my seventh year at Trailside as an Administrative Assistant in the main office.  Before coming to Trailside, I worked at a pediatric office in Ashburn as a staff RN for 5 years.  Prior to that I was a long term substitute in the Loudoun County Public Schools and made the decision to come back to the school system when Trailside opened.

I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ball State University in Indiana and then worked for several years at a hospital in Indianapolis until we relocated to the east coast.  I was then blessed to be able to stay home and raise our 3 sons and 1 daughter until our last one started school in Loudoun County, at which time I started substituting.

In my free time I enjoy running, fostering dogs, making trips to Lake Monticello to relax, swim and water ski, and spending time with family and friends.
