    What is PBIS?

PBIS is an evidence-based, tiered framework for supporting and improving students' behavioral, emotional, social, and academic outcomes.

With help from local grocery stores like Wegmans and Harris Teeter, Pinebrook students and staff collected a total of 1,175 boxes of cereal, which will be donated to the Dulles South Food Pantry following our Dominoes Run on Friday, May 10, 2024.  What a difference this donation will make to so many families in our community!

    ready responsible respectful

In classrooms throughout the school, our students, the "Pinebrook Pumas", receive ongoing coaching on what it looks like to be Ready, Responsible, and Respectful (the "3 R's").

In our hallways, learning spaces, and cafeteria, we see reminders of how to make Pinebrook a great place to learn.

    pumas that pounce

Pumas that Pounce are notes of congratulations to students that kept trying even when things got tough, that demonstrated extra effort, or that had a great attitude even when things didn't go as planned.
