Mrs. Lauren Lindstrom-Rudolph

Hello Trailside Community!

I have enjoyed many roles in my time at Trailside, from Autism teacher to Special Education Dean, but I am so excited to start this year as your assistant principal!

I am a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University (WE ARE!), and I acquired both my Bachelor's of Science in Special Education and my Master's of Education in Curriculum and Instruction there. Therefore, I am a die-hard fan of anything Penn State, especially football! As a lifelong learner, my pursuit of education did not end at Penn State. In 2019, I finished my coursework and now hold a secondary Masters in Educational Leadership from George Mason University.

As a child, I grew up in South Jersey, so I am very much a Jersey girl! I spent and still try to spend my summers with my family in Ocean City, New Jersey, which is undoubtedly my happy place. I am a huge fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and enjoy returning to Philly to watch games with my family. In addition, my husband is a football coach and avid sports junkie, and we love going to games together when we can. Aside from sports, I am blessed with a beautiful stepdaughter, a sweet and silly10-month-old, and a vivacious two-year-old Biewer Terrier.

As a leader, my goal this year, and every year, is to utilize instructional and social-emotional strategies to empower students to be the absolute best thinkers, workers, creators, and members of society that they can possibly be. As said by Rita Pierson, "Every child deserves a champion: an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection and insists they become the best they can possibly be." Let's make it a great year!
