Mrs. Lauren Lindstrom-Rudolph
Hello Trailside Community! It is my pleasure to be starting my eighth year at Trailside Middle School! This year I am serving in the role of the Special Education Dean and will be working across grade levels and contents with our special education students. I am excited to have our students back in the building and for the opportunity to develop more meaningful connections.
I am a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University (WE ARE!), and I acquired both my Bachelor's of Science in Special Education and my Master's of Education in Curriculum and Instruction there. Happy Valley, PA has become my second home, and I am a die-hard fan of anything Penn State, especially football!! As a lifelong learner, my pursuit of education did not end at Penn State. In 2019, I finished my coursework and now hold a secondary Masters in Educational Leadership from George Mason.
Originally I hail from Cinnaminson, New Jersey, so I am very much a Jersey girl! I spent and still try to spend my summers with my family in Ocean City, New Jersey, and it is certainly my happy place. I am a huge fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and enjoy returning to Philly to watch games with my family. In addition, my husband is a football coach and avid sports junkie, and we love going to games together when we can. Aside from sports, I am blessed with a beautiful stepdaughter, a vivacious one-year-old Biewer Terrier, and am so excited to be welcoming a baby boy this fall!
As a special educator, my goal this year, and every year, is to establish lasting relationships with my students in order to empower them to be the absolute best thinkers, workers, creators, and members of society that they can possibly be. As said by Rita Pierson, "Every child deserves a champion: an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection and insists they become the best they can possibly be."
