Mrs. Gearhart

As I begin my 20th year as an educator in Loudoun County, I know that the 2020-2021 school year will be different from anything I have experienced in my career. Although there will be challenges navigating new territory in a virtual setting, I look forward to the learning opportunities that will accompany those challenges. As always, my focus will be on building relationships with my students and helping them develop socially, emotionally, and intellectually throughout the year. More than ever, I want to make sure my students feel supported and successful throughout their learning experience.

This year, I will be working with students to help build their reading skills. I will also continue to share reading, writing, and instructional strategies for content-area teachers to implement with students in their classrooms.

I am fortunate to teach in Loudoun County and especially proud to be a part of the Trailside community where teachers, students, and parents work together to ensure the success of every student.
