Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Bryden-Miller

Hello Thunderbolts!

I attended college in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan at Michigan Technology University, making me a temporary Yooper.  After managing to dig out from the 200+ inches of snow that falls each winter, I received my Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and teaching certifications in Math, Science and English.  After teaching for six years, I went back to school for my Master's in Library Science in part because I love making connections among different topics.
Harnessing the power of social media to share ideas and connect with authors and other experts has been great.  Bookwise, I enjoy reading narrative non-fiction right now and will gladly read graphic novels, especially if suggested by students.  I'm also slowly adding to our plant habitat in the library, so if you have any plants that can live without natural light you'd like to share, please add to our greenery.

Come visit us in the library, propose some new titles, and ask about our groups that support students as readers.  I look forward to seeing everyone in the library this year to check out our resources and help you with your information seeking needs.  We have some awesome plans for you!
