Hello, I am Mrs. Calderon, the Sterling Middle School Dean. I have a Bachelors Degree in Sociology from the State University of New York at Binghamton and a Masters Degree in Education from Marymount University in Virginia. I completed postgraduate work at Old Dominion University and I have an endorsement in Educational Administration and Supervision. I have worked as an English as a Second Language (ELL) Teacher, a Lead ELL Teacher and a Mentor Teacher. I served as the coordinator for the Parents as Educational Partners Program (PEP) for Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS), the ELL Middle School Summer School Coordinator, a Dual Language Assessor for Loudoun County and have been Summer School Principal. I enjoy serving our Sterling Middle School family as we break through all barriers to achieve excellence in education for all our students.The 2015-2016 school year will mark continued academic success and growth for students and staff. As the middle school experience continues, all students will discover many changes in both academic and social life. Students, parents and teachers working together create a successful environment that allow students to achieve excellence.
