Mrs. Tsao

This will be my 14th year assisting in Kindergarten at Countryside Elementary.  This year is particularly exciting for me as it will be my first year working alongside Ms. Martz. I began working at Countryside when the doors opened in 2003. I started out as a substitute teacher and took a permanent position as a Kindergarten Teaching Assistant in 2008. I’ve definitely been immersed in the Countryside school community for a while and truly believe “Countryside is the Place To Be!”

Being in a classroom with five year olds and supporting their eagerness to learn makes every day an exciting adventure for me. Guiding your children as they learn to read and write is very rewarding, but I also love to encourage their creativity. I believe creative learning helps to build a foundation at an early age that learning can be a whole lot of fun!

A little about me: I am passionate about gardening and when I’m not planting flowers or pulling weeds at my country home,  I love to travel and go on adventures with my husband. I am a mom of two children. My daughter is 26 and my son is 28.  Both my children were students of the Loudoun County Public School system and received a solid foundation to continue their career aspirations as they entered college. There is no greater joy than knowing you did your job well as a parent in raising children who can contribute their talents as they venture out into society. I can say though, it all started in Kindergarten!!!  So ... get ready for an exciting and challenging journey parents! It will be worth all your efforts in the end, that I can promise you!

Welcome to Kindergarten everyone! Ms. Martz and I are eager to embrace the challenges this new school year holds for all of us and promise you that we will always do our best to help your children reach for the stars as they begin their academic journey!

Best regards,

Mrs. Tsao
